Managing Your Book’s Marketing – a Postscript
My colleague and friend Signe Nichols of Firebird Media sent me a link to a YouTube video today well worth sharing with you. Steve Carroll, a musician, had an unfortunate incident with United Airlines baggage handlers regarding his guitar. He chose to deal with it using social media and the unfolding story was so powerful he wrote a song and then book about it. Both are entitled, “United Breaks Guitars.”
This is, at heart, a business book: it is a morality tale for Big Business learning how powerful one voice can be with today’s social media. But it’s a funny, warm tale as well.
