Find your sweet spot to start your book
You want to write a book but you can’t get started. It’s a common problem for consultants and others who feel the need to have a book with their name on it.
Where do you get most of your ideas? Is it sitting in Starbuck’s? Commuting to and from work?
What day seems to be best for creative breakthroughs? Saturday mornings at home?
What time of day is best? Sitting alone late at night while your family is asleep?
What tools must you have to be creative? A digital recorder?
Aside from my morning walks—and I do carry note cards and pencils on those walks—my best setting is my backyard gazebo in the summer on a Sunday afternoon, or by the fireplace in winter. No computer. My only tools are a yellow legal pad and a fountain pen. I love the smell of fountain pen ink. What’s more, I have to be listening to classical music. Sounds weird…but it works for me. The following Mondays I hit the computer to flesh out my ideas.
The Business Book Ghostwriters can provide important tools to help your book get started. The tools include questions you may have never considered. At BBG, we’ll help you write the book you know you need.
