Excellent articles on the book publishing industry

The June 25, 2012 issue of The New Yorker magazine carries a great article by Ken Auletta entitled “Paper Trail.”  It summarizes the many changes in book publishing today. Unfortunately, I cannot provides links because the magazine does not permit sharing links with non-subscribers. So you will have to hustle down to your good ole’ fashion public library.  While you are at the stacks, flip through to the April 26, 2010 issue for another Auletta article on book publishing entitled “Publish or Perish.”
