Business Books That Help Young Professionals Get Started
My head’s been filled with online learning recently. While in Taipei, Taiwan, I had a discussion with my brother-in-law about the online learning offered by his alma mater, MIT, called OpenCourseWare. Back home, I heard a story on NPR about a new venture called Coursera, which offers free courses from 30 colleges and universities.
Then a few days ago I received an email from Online Business Degree, which helps people find the best online institution of higher learning for the business degree they seek, from an Associate’s degree to a Doctor of Business. Their list of colleges and universities is quite impressive. The message told me about some books their editors have selected to help young business professionals launch their careers.
Now, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of career advice books on the market, but I took a look and had to agree they had made some excellent choices. I’ve read several of their choices, and was interested in reading several others on their list. Take a look here. If not for yourself, these books make great gifts. Perhaps they may inspire you to write your own book, with which we’ll be happy to help you.
